Summer is a native of Washington state, and began her dance training with ballet classes at the age of 5.  She attended High Step Dance Academy, continued dance training at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, and in New York City with Paul Taylor American Modern Dance Company before returning to the Pacific Northwest to dance in Nancy Whyte’s Mount Baker Ballet Company, for Greg Thompson Productions and Can Can Culinary Cabaret.  Additionally, she is a digital program manager, licensed massage therapist and certified Pilates teacher.  Summer is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to explore movement with Rainbow and Hypernova this year.
