Maia Veague is a freelance dance artist born and raised in the midwest before (twice) making Seattle her chosen home.  She has had the opportunity to dance works by Thodos Dance Chicago/Hillary Murphy, Mandy Moore, Rachelle Rhelk, Karin Stevens, Wade Madsen, Alyza DelPan-Monley, Christin Call/Coriolis, Timothy Marquis Johnson, Gierre Godley, Sarah Seder, and Rainbow Fletcher/Hypernova. Maia is currently in practice as a chiropractor and uses this pursuit, along with personal movement practice, to explore ideas of physical and internal space, inhabiting body, and perceived experience through environment.
