Hot Wax originally debuted as a quartet in three parts that was presented in Full Tilt, Seattle WA (2015). Inspired by the counterculture phenomenon that occurred in the 1960’s. The rebellion of the youth served as a dynamic experimental change that took place in our history. The choreography was influenced by sourced imagery of  beachside social scenes, gogo dance clubs, and the dance crazes that exploded during that decade. Hot Wax is set to a soundtrack of crashing waves and instrumental surf guitar music. The  mood and movement quality plays off  the pushing drive and vintage sound of that era.
