Christin Call is a filmmaker, dancemaker, visual artist, and poet living and working in Seattle, WA. Her assemblage series What is Home an Obscure Kingdom an Opera Buffa It’s You Always You premiered at Northwest Film Forum in July 2018. She has received residencies from Velocity Dance Center, Seattle Demo Project, eXit Space Studios, Studio Current, Open Flight Studio, and Project: Space Available. Her dance film, Voluntary Caesura received the Best Dance Film Award at STIFF in 2017 and her other films have been selected for local and regional film festivals. As Co-founder and Co-artistic Director of Coriolis Dance she has commissioned, curated, and produced over 35 new works in Seattle. In 2013-14 she co-choreographed the company's first full-evening, multi-media installation work Unfixed Arias, called “William Blake-esque” and of “latent artistic genius” by SeattleDances. Call has also worked for the last four years with NYC Director Lauren Hlubny to create and perform roles in works that have taken her to NYC and Florence, Italy.
