Dylan Rieck is a cellist, composer, and music teacher, currently residing in Portland, OR. As a member of Balmorhea, The Crying Shame, Stop Thief! and others he has played nearly 1,000 concerts all over the U.S. and in 15 countries around the world. As a composer and arranger, Dylan Rieck defies categorization as he synthesizes the many genres that he embraces.

He has appeared as a performer or arranger on over 40 albums spanning a wide range of musical styles. His varied experience and talent at playing by ear allow him to work quickly and efficiently to adapt to any musical setting. Dylan is currently residing in Portland, OR, with his dogs Dragon and Garbanzo.
